He has addressed meetings in Tehran, including a lecture to hundreds of young Iranian university students, and spoke at a conference of government leaders, where the country’s president also spoke. Harry Cooper, President of Sharkhunters, returns to the broadcast to discuss his fascinating personal friendship with Hans Georg-Hess, a German U-boat commander during the Second World War. Hess, one of the youngest commanders in the history of submarine warfare, commanded a single U-boat from September 1944 until the end of the war, and sank five ships.
